  8. ShutterBug is a still image photography application for use with a Connectix QuickCam. It is designed to take repeated images for placing on web sites. It is a launch and forget application which will sit in the background and take images placing them in the same file. In can currently only save images directly as JPEG's files. The main  features are automatic exposure with spot metering. This means that if the lighting conditions in your coffeehouse change then ShutterBug will cope.

ShutterBug is shareware. If you use this program, the fee is US$25.00.   YOU MUST REGISTER IS YOU SET UP A WEB PAGE USING THIS PROGRAM. If you register then you get the option of adding JPEG comments to your pictures. Otherwise you are stuck with the default comment. As an added bonus,  you support further development of this product. Send the registration fee to..
